Prize giving was all right, even though I had to sit on stage for about an hour.
It’s difficult okay? When you sit in the audience, you can yawn, scratch, stretch or close your eyes when things get too boring. When you’re sitting on stage with the head-of-year’s as one of the head students, everyone can see you and you always have to look smart, make you you don’t flash and scar anyone for life and basically stay still.
I went home with the academic prizes for Business, Bio, TOK and a form prize. I think I’ve earned the right to be smug
Hopefully, I’ll be the Dux Scholaris next year (;
Two more days and it’s summer. Fuck yes!
